Before requesting a machine configuration

Which process should we use for a deep bore?
Gun drilling is normally evaluated for smaller high L/D holes; drilling and boring or BTA for larger diameters and stock removal; honing or SRB for final size and finish. The drawing and starting bore control the route.
Can you quote from diameter and depth alone?
Not responsibly. Material, hardness, tolerance, straightness, roughness, starting condition, quantity and target cycle are also required.
Are the published ranges guaranteed for every workpiece?
No. They are typical planning ranges. Final capability follows engineering review, model and tooling selection, coolant, chip removal and the signed technical agreement.
How is machine acceptance defined?
The sample, measuring method, instruments, critical features and acceptance criteria must be agreed in writing before manufacture.
Is local service in Mexico included?
Installation, training, remote support, spare parts and any on-site service must be confirmed expressly in the proposal and contract.
